Man to be sentenced for lengthy series of drugs offences

A man will be sentenced at Derry Crown Court next month after pleading guilty to a lengthy list of drugs offences.

27-year-old Ryan Robinson, with an address at Cornshell Fields in the city appeared before Crown Court Judge Philip Babington on Tuesday.

He faced two counts of importing a Class C controlled drug, namely diazepam February, 2014 and the attempted possession of diazepam with intent to supply on the same date. He was also accused of two counts of possessing diazepam and two counts of supplying the same on dates between May and August of 2014.

Robinson pleaded guilty to all charges put to him and will be sentenced on April 21.
