Maths and magic at the Millennium Forum

The organisers of a what's described as a Mathematical Mysteries show due to take place in the Millennium Forum later this month have promised that audiences will be dazzled by what they see on the day.

Paul McAneany, founder of Cahoots NI, the company behind the character Danny Carmo says people young and old will be blown away by the unique blend of Maths and magic.

“It’s a real spectacle with huge effects but at the very centre there are mathematical principles but they are very well hidden so it doesn’t feel as if you’re constantly having information thrown at you. At the end of the show everybody gets a free book so people can go home and look at the Maths behind it all and have fun working it all out. It’s a particularly useful resource for teachers.

Following the huge success of the award-winning ‘Lights, Camera, Math ‘a’ Magic’ this engaging and highly entertaining show puts the magic into maths in a mind-boggling, bamboozling and fantastically fun way. Danny Carmo’s Mathematical Mysteries will run in the Millennium Forum on June 21 and is suitable for children aged seven plus.
