Mayor opens book of condolence in Galliagh

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District, Councillor Elisha McCallion, yesterday opened a Book of Condolence at St Joseph's Church in Galliagh, Derry, in memory of the family who tragically lost their lives in Buncrana on Sunday evening.

She was joined by local politicians and Church leaders who signed the book, which is now open to the public. A second book will also be opened today at Holy Family Church in Ballymagroarty.

There was shock across the North West following the tragic deaths of Sean McGrotty, his two young sons Mark and Evan, his mother-in-law Ruth Daniels and her daughter Jodie-Lee, who had been enjoying a day trip to the seaside town on Sunday before the tragic accident.
