Karen McFarland told members of the Council Health and Community Committee that “pre-start” meetings will now take place and that all of the relevant stakeholders and users of the grounds, as well as local residents, will be fully consulted with.
Sinn Féin Councillor Kevin Campbell welcomed progress on a project he noted has been in “the pipeline for some time.”

McAleer and Teague have a track record of delivering major building projects across the North.
It built the Healthy Living Centre in Creggan for Derry City Council and a state-of-the-art control tower at Healy Park for the Tyrone County Board, among many other major projects.
