A meeting to discuss the lack of rubbish bins in Muff and surrounding area will be held in the Squealin’ Pig Lounge to-morrow h at 12 noon. It is hoped that there will be a good turn out at the meeting as the problem of rubbish in the village is chronic.

At the monthly meeting of the ICA members were treated to a very informative talk on Reflexology by Claire Donnelly, Aught, Afterwards which she gave a treatment to one of members who said she felt she was ‘walking on air’
The competition for the best old fashioned rub , which were many and varied, was won by Carol Lynch, with Sue Lynch coming a close second. There was also a discussion about the forthcoming Floral Demonstration on 18th March, proceeds of which is going to the Children’s Playpark.
The anniversary Mass for Anna Woods will be offered to-night Friday in the Sacred Heart Church, Muff.

This is another reminder that volunteers and participants are urgently required for ‘Stars in your eyes’ in May and White Collar Boxing in October. The committee understand that these events are not taking place in the near future, but it is necessary to know if there is sufficient interest so that preparations are set in motion. Also, get your running shoes on for a 5K Fun Run/Walk in aid of Muff Community Park on Saturday, 26th April. Event detailsto be confirmed.
