The Waterside Neighbourhood Partnership (WNP) will host a special men’s health event on Wednesday February 11.
The event is part of the Neighbourhood Health Initiative Project (NHIP) and will take place in the All Saints Caring Centre in Melrose Terrace from 10am to 12pm.
WNP Health Development Worker, Rhonda Boyd, explained why the event is so important and encouraged as many local men as possible to attend the event and avail of a free health check.
The WNP cares about the health and wellbeing of all the men in our community and we would encourage all the men to come and receive their free health check in an informal, fun setting.
“Therapists will also be there to offer massage and a free lunch will be served from 12.30pm. There will also be a chance to win a £100 prize on our bucking bronco competition - whoever stays on the longest wins the prize - it should be a lot of fun,” said Rhonda.
