Mother reunited with baby after French terror attack

So far, the death toll has risen to 84 with hundreds injured, many of whom are in a critical condition.

The mother and son were separated when an armed man drove a lorry into a crowd during Bastille Day celebrations in the French city of Nice.

Friends of the mother took to social media to ask people to help locate the boy.

The message was shared more than 100 times on Facebook.

A woman found the boy in the confusion that followed the attack and he has been re-united with his mother.

“Thank you all for your prayers - we found the baby safe,” said friend of the mother, Yohlaine Ramasitera.
