Muff Ceili and Social Evening on Sunday

A Praise Service will be held in Muff Church of Ireland this Sunday 31st July at 6pm Everyone welcome. Light refreshments afterwards in Warrenview. This Service is being run in conjunction with Muff Community Festival.

The Ceili and Social evening, formerly held in the open air in the Squealin’ Pig Car Park will now be held in the Marquee Festival Field this Sunday 31st July. This Ceili always proved to be a success having a great atmosphere with plenty of dancing and singing, there will also be dances suitable for the children who must be accompanied by an adult. The music will be provided by the Cottage Ceili Band and admission is free.

There will be a fundraising Ceili in St. Mary’s Community Hall on Friday 5th August from 9-12. Music by Martin Doogan. Admission five euro including supper. Proceeds to St. Mary”s Community Hall

Do you have 1-2 hours to spare per week? The Good Morning Service Donegal’s Befriending Scheme urgently requires volunteers for all areas of Inishowen. The Befriending Service matches volunteers with people over 60 years of age who feel isolated, lonely or are housebound for whatever reason.

The volunteer provides companionship, support and a ‘friendly face’ within a structured befriending framework. Our specific Dementia Befriending Service has the additional aim of giving carers a little time out.Garda Vetting will apply and Full Volunteer Training will be provided. Month’s Mind Mass in Muff this Sunday at 11.30am will be offered as the Months Mind Mass for Patrick Logue.

As part of the Year of Mercy there will be a pilgrimage to St.Patrick’s Well and the Children’s graveyard on Sunday 14th August at 3pm. All are welcome.

Community Bingo will be held in St.Mary’s Hall on Saturday night at 9.15pm. As it is the Festival weekend an extra 70 Euro will be paid out compliments of the Festival. Your continued support for the bingo is appreciated.

There will be a free Irish Language Workshop for adults in the Muff Festival Performance Marquee tomorrow, Saturday, 30 July, from 1 till 2pm. Find out how Irish can be fun!
