Country music star, Nathan Carter, is looking forward to his return concert in Limavady two years after he first played in the Roe Valley.
The star behind the popular version of Bob Dylan’s song, ‘Wagon Wheel’ will be playing for fans in Limavady on November 6th at Roe Valley Leisure Centre.
Edenvale Care Home manager, Carol Craig said the singer will donate some of the proceeds towards the Residents’ Social Fund, which helps with the cost of activities for the facility’s 54 residents.
“We have a lot of in-house activities, but even we want to bring the ce cream van in for a day it costs in the region of £80,” said Carol.
“We hope the money we can raise from the concert will help improve the quality of life for residents.”
Nathan Carter told the ‘Journal’ he was looking forward to returning to perform in front of his fans in Limavady.
“I was in Limavady two years ago and it was a fantastic night.
“I’m delighted to be coming back. I remember playing at the barn dance outside Dungiven and I knew then people knew how to enjoy themselves, so I’m looking forward to coming back,” he said.
“I expect it to be a good show. We’ll have a seven-piece band so it should be a good night with some of the old hits and some new stuff too. It’ll be a great night and it’s for a great cause.”
