A night of celebration of the life of a Derry man who died after a long struggle with leukaemia is to be held tomorrow night.
Father of two Bill Quigley’s struggle with the disease was highlighted last year when his family made a public appeal for bone marrow donors to find a suitable transplant match.
He was diagnosed with the condition in September 2010.
His family have organised a ‘Night for Bill’ at the Delacroix on Saturday to mark what would have been his 40th birthday celebrations and all who knew him are invited to attend.
Bill’s sister Allison said: “It’s great that everyone can come out and celebrate his life.”
