Our Krypton Son at Masons

Our Krypton Son.
Our Krypton Son.

Derry band Our Krypton Son will set the stage alight this Thursday evening, April 14, when they headline upstairs in Masons Bar.

The local five-piece have been notching up fans of late, with frequent airplay on both BBC Radio Foyle and BBC Radio Ulster and a dazzling debut album due to be released in June this year.

Mixed and produced by noted producer Sam Williams (Supergrass, Plan B, The Noisettes) the self-titled debut album has been described by BBC Radio’s Stephen McCauley as “a contender for Northern Irish Album of the Year”.

The gig, organised and promoted by AMP Promotions, will feature some superb support acts too. Ryan O’Doherty and Kevin Brown will play an original set, Conor Mason will perform some of his acclaimed solo material and there will be a stunning set from much-loved local duo Little Hooks.

If the hype is to be believed, Our Krypton Son are destined for greater things, so best catch them while you can in Masons Bar. Admission £3.
