Here’s a taste of some of the colourful characters revellers are likely to meet if they brave Europe’s largest and the world’s best Halloween festival in the home of Samhain over the next few days!

4. The Spirits of Derry's Past haunt the former Austins Department Store in Derry's Diamond. The annual Awakening of The Walls takes place over the next few nights in Derry as once again the city’s famed Halloween Festival begins in the ancient Walled City with themed live performances and live projections across the City. The event which draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the North West culminates on Halloween Night as the City of Bones hosts a carnival parade and fireworks display over the River Foyle.
