Campaign to find 'Barney the Border Collie' after he goes missing from Derry home

A campaign to find 'Barney the Border Collie' has been launched in Derry after he went missing from his home this afternoon.

The PSNI in Derry issued an appeal after he went wandering on the city's northern fringe.

"Please be on the look out for Barney the Border Collie," the PSNI said.

"He is a rescued dog and can be a bit nervous around people. He has run from his house in Clon Elagh and may be around the Skeoge Road area.

"Get in touch on 101 and quote reference 1408 of today's date," said officers at Strand Road.
