COVID-19 death tally rises to 28 in NI after six more deaths - location of coronavirus cases revealed

A further six people have died in Northern Ireland with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Public Health Agency a further 53 people have also been diagnosed as having coronavirus.

The report from the PHA adds that the ‘cumulative number of Trust deaths associated with COVID-19 is 28’.

The statistics for SARS-COV2 test outcome, in Northern Ireland have also been published by the Public Health Authority.

And the number of Individuals tested for SARS-COV2 Virus is 5,885.

Meanwhile 586 people have tested positive for COVID-19.

The number of Individuals testing negative for SARS-COV2 Virus is 5,274.

And the number of individuals with indeterminate result for SARS-COV2 Virus is 25.

Meanwhile the location of NI’s 586 COVID-19 cases has been published.

36 cases in Antrim and Newtownabbey,

62 cases in Armagh, Banbridge And Craigavon

166 cases in Belfast

16 cases in Causeway Coast And Glens

24 cases in Derry And Strabane

29 cases in Fermanagh And Omagh

70 cases in Lisburn And Castlereagh

32 cases in Mid And East Antrim

17 cases in Mid Ulster

44 cases in Newry, Mourne And Down

61 cases in North Down And Ards

29 cases of unknown location

According to the statistics 32% or 190 of those with the virus are in the 0 to 44 age group.

Meanwhile 220 people or 38% of those with the virus are in the 45 to 69 age group.

And 176 people or 30% with the virus are in the 70 plus age group.

As of today 291 females (50%) and 295 males (50%) have the virus in Northern Ireland.
