Martin McGuinness fourth anniversary programme of events confirmed

The Martin Mc Guinness Peace Foundation will host a number of online events this weekend to mark the fourth anniversary of Martin’s death.

The programme includes the launch of a new portrait by Belfast artist, Tony Bell.

There will also be an announcement of the winners of the recent ‘Poem to Martin’ competition.

Events will kick off tonight at 7pm with a showing of ‘Remembering the Chieftain - In Conversation with Gerry Adams’ which took place in Derry’s Millennium Forum in 2018.

All events will take place on the Martin Mc Guinness Peace Foundation Facebook page which can be accessed here: Féin veteran leader and former Joint First Minister Mr McGuinness passed away back in March 2017 following a short battle with a rare heart condition.

Mr McGuinness had died just a few short months since his retirement from frontline politics. He was 66 years old.
