In regards to a Girls Aloud reunion, Nadine said there has been ‘loads of conversations and stuff and people are getting in contact.’

She added: “It takes so much time. It’s still early.’

Nadine told Angela Scanlon that her daughter is her greatest gift, and the one she is most grateful for. She added how the other best gift she ever received was a Mercedes from Bob Mullan Motors when she first joined Girls Aloud.

“He said - just take what you want. I was kind of looking around me and you’re like: are you sure? Yeah. And you’re looking at the cars, you know, you’re trying to imagine yourself in them and I just couldn’t see myself in any of these cars. And then he said, Oh, you’re not feeling any of these. He’s like, there’s a new champagne coloured Mercedes. Just come on out the back with me. My daddy and me were like: ‘ Did he say Mercedes?

As she was just 17, she was yet to receive her driving licence, so would fly from London to Derry to undertake driving lessons and then fly back.
