The sculpture, Turn off the Plastic Tap, signifies the amount of plastic waste we create and the fact that a lot of this plastic waste ends up in our oceans.

The artist behind the sculpture is called Shelia Byrne and it was created in conjunction with Park Drop In Youth Group. It is made from over 1000 plastic bottles that were collected after the Strabane Half Marathon and from Council staff in Council buildings.
