NO deaths in last 24 hours of people with Covid-19 and 97 people test positive

The death toll in Northern Ireland remains at 2,129 after 24 hours with no deaths with Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

The latest statistics from the Department of Health dashboard reveals that another 97 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

That number jumps to 717 people testing positive for the last seven days.

There are now 84 people in our hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19.

And of that number eight are battling Covid-19 in ICU.

Meanwhile there are now five people with the deadly virus in NI Care Homes.
