Two people found collapsed in Derry City Centre taken to hospital
Two females who were found in a collapsed state in Derry City Centre have been taken to hospital.
Victoria Market car park was closed for a time this morning by police but the area has now reopened.
City Centre Initiative had this morning issued an alert that the area was closed as police were on the scene dealing with “an incident” that occurred overnight.
Police have confirmed that they attended the scene, where two females who had collapsed in the Victoria Market area of Derry.
A spokesperson said: “They were taken to hospital. Their condition is not thought to be life-threatening.”
Police also confirmed that the area has now reopened.
The nature of the incident has yet to be confirmed.
