Plans to turn old Ebrington barracks into offices given the green light

Plans to turn a hundred-year-old listed barracks block in Ebrington into office accommodation were given the green light by the Council's Planning Committee on Wednesday.

Members of the committee approved full planning permission and listed buildings consent for the refurbishment and extension of the former barracks building at Building 104, which bounds the northern limit of the Ebrington site at St Columb’s Road.

The application is for the refurbishment, extension and change of use of an existing listed building to provide 19 no offices.

The old barracks was originally constructed between 1895 and 1904.
