Police in Derry are appealing for information following a report of shots being fired in the Fanad Drive area of Derry on Sunday evening.

Just before 7.30pm, it was reported that two masked men entered the garden of a house and fired shots in the air. No-one was injured in the incident.

Detective Inspector Lindsay Kitson said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
