PSNI conducting search in Dungiven

Motorists earlier today spotted the PSNI officers searching an area along the Foreglen Road.

No details have ben revealed regarding the nature of the search operation at present.

A PSNI spokesman said: “Following information received police are conducting a search at Foreglen Road in Dungiven.

“There have been no road closures as a result of this and there are no further details at this time.”
