PSNI: Theft at Claudy being investigated

Police are investigating after the theft of a pick-up from a property on the Glenshane Road, Claudy during the early hours of Tuesday, January 13.

At around 1am it was reported that a white Ford Ranger pick-up had been stolen from a farmyard on the road just outside Claudy village.

The vehicle was recovered a short time later on the Yates Court area of Derry.

One of the invetigating officers, Constable Armstrong said: “ I appeal to anyone who has any information in relation to the theft of this vehicle or notice anyone acting suspicious in the general area of Braefield, Main Street and Glenshane Road area of Claudy before 1 am to contact police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
