Rally Radio to relay all the action from Derry

The live action will be relayed over the airwaves as it unfolds during this year's John Mulholland Motors Ulster Rally in Derry.

Rally Radio regulars Chris Rawes from Rawcast Media and Xavier McCartan will be joined by Toni Kelly, who is no stranger to live Rally Radio.

The trio intend to keep a world-wide audience up to date with two days of action as it happens as this year’s much anticipated event, from August 18 to 20.

Chris and Xav have worked together worldwide for several years and have extensive experience producing live broadcasts for rally fans. Chris is the voice of the ERC Radio and TV reporting on programmes from the European Rally Championship and Xav works on a day to day basis in rallying in the UK and Ireland.

Xav said: “The Ulster has always been a favourite event of mine and for Chris, Toni and myself to be able to provide radio coverage this year is superb. No matter where you are in the world you can tune in but it will really add to those who are spectating around the stages of the new venue.”

Gary Milligan, Clerk of the Course said: “Having moved to the new venue in Derry/Londonderry for this year, Rally Radio will really add to the experience for everyone, those competing, service crews, spectators and especially those rally fans that can’t make it to the event.”
