Rehearsals for Christmas Concert

Carrowmenagh Community Centre will be hosting its annual Children’s Christmas Concert on Friday 5th December. The rehearsal will be taking place this Sunday from 2.30pm. The Tremone Historical Society recently held a fundraising concert in the Carrowmenagh Community Centre. The society wish to thank all the following artists who provided us with a wonderful evening of music and song, Dominic McDaid, Paddy J McLaughlin, Joseph Henry McLaughlin, Denis McGuiness, Saiorse O’Dochartaigh and Anthony McGonigle. A special thanks to Mr Joe Cauley who was an excellent M.C on the night and who also entertained all with comedy and verse of the highest standard. The society wish also to thank Neil Farren for all the technical assistance he gave prior to and during the concert.

Moville Drama Group will stage a 3 act comedy, The Maiden Aunt, in St Eugene’s Hall, Moville, tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday night, next Tue 2nd, Wed 3rd, Thur 4th, Fri 5th and Sat 6th of Dec at 8pm. Tickets are available from Lynotts Shop and Gillen’s Supermarket, Moville and Mc Laughlin’s Shop, Greencastle. Any unsold tickets will be available at the door.

Parent and Toddler group at Carrowmenagh Centre every Wednesday from 10.30-12.00. All new families welcome to come and join our fun and relaxed group. €3.00 per family.

Santa Claus is coming to Carrowmenagh on Sunday 14th December at 5pm. Names are now being taken for Santa’s List. Contact Sonia on 0749381375 before Friday 5th December to have your child/children added.

Scoil Cholmcille Annual Christmas Fair will take place in the Fishery School, Greencastle on Friday 5th December from 5-9pm. Admission €2 which includes entry into draw. Up to 30 stalls displaying local arts and crafts and home baking will be available on the night. All welcome.

The Moville Care of the Aged Christmas Party will take place from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday 7th December at the Point Inn, Quigley’s Point. Those wishing to attend should be over 65 and from the Parish of Moville.

There was no winner of the Carrowmenagh Football Club Weekly Lotto Draw jackpot last Sunday. The numbers drawn were: 3, 10, 21, 22. €20 winners were: 1. Aiden Sweeney, Glenagivney, 2. Jim & Ann McDaid, Bredaghglen, 3. James McLaughlin, Ballynally. The jackpot now is now €900 to be drawn in the Corner Bar.
