Sinn Féin councillor Tony McCaul has said he will work with party colleagues in the Assembly and Executive to address road safety issues in Feeny and Foreglen.
Colr. McCaul said concerns have been brought to his attention about a number of issues.
“People living in the Feeny and Foreglen areas have raised concerns about grass cutting and other road safety issues,” said Colr. McCaul.
“I have also been campaigning for traffic calming in both Foreglen and Feeny which are two of the very few areas without this.
“I will also be working closely with our local MLA, Caoimhe Archibald, to bring these concerns to the Assembly and the relevant ministers.”
Sinn Féin MLA for East Derry Caoimhe Archibald also pledged to raise the issues at Assembly level.
“Councillor McCaul and I will be meeting with the Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazard to work towards resolving these issues for the people of Feeny and Foreglen,” said Ms Archibald.
