Roisin Carlin from Burnfoot has made it through to the Live Shows of RTE's The Voice of Ireland.

Burnfoot’s, Roisin Carlin, will contest The Voice Of Ireland this Easter Sunday night.

Roisin will again perform live on the hit RTE show having negotiated her way to this, the quarter final stage of the competition.

“This is my third live show so it is going well so far but you can’t take anything for granted,” she said modestly.

“To be honest I haven’t had any expectations. I just wanted to enjoy every moment of the experience.”

Roisin admits it was difficult to enjoy her St. Patrick’s Day outing on the show: “The singing was grand but when you are called out on stage and are waiting on them to call you name to say you got through, that is the most nervous I’ve ever been. The wait to hear them call you is just crazy nervous.”

Having already performed Justine Bieber’s Boyfriend and Taylor Swift’s ‘Trouble’ 20 year old Roisin is promising that viewers will see a “totally different side to me this time.”

“I’ve been enjoying rehearsals this week. It is a crazy time. There are so many things to do so I am making sure to really enjoy the moments I get to myself as well. The semi-final is so close you want to do everything to the best of your ability. I’m trying hard to be as focused as I can be and hopefully do Donegal proud.”

Roisin appears on the quarter final of RTE2’s The Voice of Ireland this Easter Sunday evening from 6.30pm.
