Sad passing of Shaun McLaughlin


For the months of January and February, St. Boden’s N.S. Parents Association are hosting the Good as New in Pound Street, Carndonagh from 10am-5pm, Monday to Saturday. All donations of clothing are very welcome indeed.

Other winners, Joanie McLaughlin, Mickey McLaughlin, John Doherty, Mary Ellen Ruddy, Mary Quigley, Vera Deeney. Whist resumes tonight at 8.45 pm in Bocan Hal with Snowball of €220. Gleneely Colts Club Lotto Numbers drawn on 28th December were 7-12-15-21 and there was no jackpot winner. Twenty euro winners were :

The Sunday night Music Series in Hillhead Hall, Carndonagh continues this Sunday with music by Bocan Choir.Tea and Coffee served at 7pm with music from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and all are welcome.

Gleneely National School is opening a charity shop at G&S Supermarket from the 19th January and all proceeds to go to the new classroom build. Donations can be given in now and stored until the shop opens. Please contact the school to arrange drop off.

Paddy Lafferty Memorial Pool Competition 2014 - Congratulations to Paddy Logue on winning the memorial shield and to runner up, Darragh Crossan an Neil G Duffy and Seamus Mc Laughlin beaten semi-finalists. The Lafferty Family would like to extend their thanks to all the players and to everyone who donated so generously. A special thanks to Darran of the Orchard bar for his sponsorship of all the glassware. The total amount raised for the Intensive Care Unit in Letterkenny General Hospital was €750. Joe and Charlie would like to thank the Lafferty Family for donating the Memorial shield and also for allowing them to run this competition in memory of their good friend Paddy. A big thank you to everyone involved.
