The Derry public is being encouraged to sample salmon, sloke and willicks as the city celebrates Irish Walled Towns Day.
From 12 noon tomorrow the very best seafood fayre will be available in Guildhall Square.
The seafood market, organised by Derry City Council and NWRC chef Emmett McCourt, will pay homage to the city’s maritime heritage and quality local produce.
“The seafood market is essentially about promoting local produce and the great natural resources we have in the River Foyle and coastal areas of Derry and Donegal,” says Emmett.
