Scouts need your old camping equipment

The 20th Donegal Scout Group is looking for donations of old or unused camping equipment e.g. tents, portable gas hobs, camping cookware or anything that may be of use to a group of young people on a campsite like canvas sheets or tarpaulins. If you have anything you do not use anymore or think it may be of some use then contact Ciaran on 086-6069070

A big fun coffee day will be held in Quigley’s Point Communtiy Centre this Sunday 20th March from 10am to 5pm.All proceeds are in aid of Our Ladys Hspital for Sick Children in Crumlin & Chest, Heart & Stroke Association at Letterkenny Hospital.

A Ceili and Old Tyme Dance will be held in Bocan Hallnext Friday, 25th March. Music is by Martin Duggan and dancing is from 10pm– 1pm. Admission including supper is 5 euro and all proceeds are for the Bocan Community Defibrilator Group. Come along and support the group and have a great night’s craic. All welcome.

Gleneely Wheelers Cycling Club meets every Saturday at 10am and Sundays at 2pm at Carricks Bar to go on a leisure cycle. A great way to exercise and get fit. Every standard of cyclist welcome.

The weekly parent and toddler group continues in Bocan Hall every Wednesday from 10.30am until 12 noon and all are welcome.

Ceili Dancing continues in the Wee hall Culdaff every Wednesday night from 9pm – 11pm and Irish Dancing classes continue in Bocan Hall on Mondays from 5pm to 6.30pm.

There was no winner of the Gleneely Colts Lotto jackpot. Numbers drawn were 2-9-13-19 and next week’s jackpot is 4,350 euro. Dolphin Dance School holds classes every Tuesday in the Wee Hall Culdaff at 6pm for Juniors and 7.30pm for Seniors. Bocan Drama Club’s production of Damsel From Dublin will be performedin St Eugene’s Hall Moville on Friday 25th March. Doors will open at 7.30pm and the play will commence at 8pm.Admission is 5 euro and all proceeds will go to Methodist Church Funds.
