Fellow musicians of the 29-year-old from across Derry, Donegal and beyond have joined family, friends and thousands of others in helping to spread the word since an appeal went out to try and find him on Tuesday night.

Stephen’s family and the PSNI have said they are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.

It is believed that Stephen has travelled over the border and his Audi car has been discovered parked at Fanad Lighthouse in north Donegal.

Stevie used the stage name Rainy Boy Sleep, and has toured widely at festivals and gigs at home and across the UK and Ireland, including at the Reading Festival and Derry’s Music City, and last year released an album entitled ‘Manchester Post’ to great acclaim.

Stevie is described as being 6’ tall, of slim build, with brown coloured shaven hair and facial stubble.

Police are appealing for Stephen, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to make contact with police or his family, telephone 101.
