Police are to widen the search for missing Lifford man David Colhoun.
A PSNI spokeswoman says the search area “will widen in the days ahead.”
“Foyle Search and Rescue and Community Rescue Service will continue to search the river and its banks, under the direction of the PSNI, until David is found. Police will continue to liaise with our colleagues in An Garda Síochána.
“Police have reassured the family that we will continue to respond to fresh information and offer assistance and support where we can in these difficult circumstances.
“David’s father Joe and the family would like to thank everyone involved in the search to date. They are extremely appreciative of the efforts of police, An Garda Síochána, the rescue teams and all the volunteers.
“The public are advised to contact police should they come across anything that would be helpful in our search for David,” she says.
