Series of Rosemount schemes welcomed
Sinn Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper has welcomed confirmation of several improvement schemes for Rosemount.
He said: “The lane at the rear of Baldrick Crescent is in a bad state so I have asked the Housing Executive to send in Ground Maintenance to get them cleaned as required.
“There is also a problem with weeds growing from HE properties but this is a tenant’s responsibility, and I am looking at various options to see something can be done. Damaged walls will also be restored in the coming weeks.”
Subject to funding, he added, a new scheme is planned for April 2017 to include the cleaning of roofs/ gutters, painting, fencing, and replacement of external doors.
