Show your support for local St Patrick's Day parades

Those attending the St Patrick's Day events in Moville and Buncrana this Friday have been reminded of start times and everyone has been urged to get involved.

In Moville, there’ll be live music in the Square from 2pm. Floats should assemble on the Glencrow Road from 1pm onwards to set off from 2.30pm. Traffic controls and diversions will be in place. On Thursday, March 16th, the traditional music night will take place in the Corner Bar from 10pm. Show your support by wearing your Lucky Shamrock. It automatically enters you into a draw as well and the winner is picked at the end of the parade.

In Buncrana, the parade begins at 3pm with all floats asked to assemble at the Shore Front from 2pm onwards. The first 5,000 people in the town will receive their very own flag. There’ll also be music on the street after the parade.

It is expected that both parades will be very popular so please try to arrive in each town in good time. Everyone is also very welcome to take part.
