Derry’s eagerly awaited ‘Sippy of Culture’ beer festival is only a few weeks away.
The tickets for the event are selling well but to avoid disappointment the organisers are advising all believers in beer to buy their tickets before the event.
“This event is all about local beers and people enjoying themselves,” said ‘Sippy of Culture’ founder, Brian Rainey.
“The ticket sales have exceeded our expectations but if you want to enjoy what is sure to be one of the most unique events to take place in Derry this year then you need to get your tickets as soon as possible,” he added.
The two day event will see local brewers, distillers and cider makers from all over the North serve up their craft brews to enthusiasts in the Main Hall in Derry’s Guildhall.
Some of the brewers taking part included Northbound Brewery (Derry), Kinnegar Brewery (Rathmullan), Long Meadow Cider (Armagh), Clearsky Brewing Company (Dungannon), Mourne Mountains Brewery (Warrenpoint), Walled City Brewery (Derry), O’Connor Craft Beer (Greysteel), Lacada Brewery (Portrush) and Quiet Man Irish Whiskey (Derry).
‘Sippy of Culture’ will take place on Friday November 27 and Saturday November 28. The event is sponsored by Different Class Menswear and Quiet Man Whiskey.
For every ticket sold a donation will be made to Foyle Search and Rescue.
Tickets cost £10 for a weekend pass or £6 per day (excluding booking fee) and can be purchased from www.SippyFest.co.uk
