St Johnston detached house to go under hammer for 50k euros

A semi-detached property in Convoy is also being held for just 35,000 euros.

And a mixed use block housing the Gaolee Chinese and the Snips hair salon, also in Convoy, is being auctioned off as a rental investment opportunity with a reserve of 90,000 - 100,000 euros.

The lots are among more than 160 residential and commercial properties being auctioned by Allsop in Dublin on Wednesday, September 28.

The 50,000 euro stand-alone house in St Johnston is located in the Treansallagh townland, according to the auctioneer, and the 35,000 euro three-bedroom house in Convoy is at Townparks in the village.

Deemed by Allsop as “a mixed use investment” the retail building currently occupied by the Gaolee Chinese and Snip in Convoy brings in a total current rent of 15,444 euros

There’s also one flat in the building subject to a tenancy and two vacant flats.

Elsewhere, a semi-detached house at Greenfields in Convoy is reserved for just 40,000 euros; two neighbouring semi-detached houses on The Waterfront in Killybegs have reserves of 125,000 euros; and a two bedroom apartment at Ardmore Court on Ballyshannon, Main Street is being held for just 30,000 euros.
