The Saint Mary’s College annual Christmas craft fair will be held this Saturday.
Interest in the 2015 Craft Fair has been immense –it has grown as our reputation as a wonderfully successful fair has grown.
The public can expect to see a stunning range of arts and crafts ranging from fused glass designs, stoneware, ceramics, jewellery, hats, scarves and mitts, prints, soft toys, quilts, photography, all things knitted, crocheted or textile, cosmetics, garlands, soaps, homemade jams, scones, cakes and chutneys as well as other seasonal offerings - edible or otherwise! Fair-trade crafts from the Philippines Asia, African and South America will also be on offer.
There will be over 70 stalls exhibiting the most beautiful crafts, gifts and foods, and five stalls by St Mary’s College pupils.
Look out for the wonderful, seasonal decorations of our own Art Entrepreneurs ‘Room 13’ – we know that they are going to take the Derry Craft world by storm! Also keep an eye out for the Young Entrepreneurs from the Technology Department who sold out in their first year at the Craft Fair and have been working like industrious elves so they don’t disappoint customers this year.
Mayor Elisha McCallion will be the special guest. Entries for our P7 Craft Competition will be announced at 12 noon the day of the Fair.
The fair will be held on Saturday, November 28 from 11am – 4pm. £1 Entry (50p Concession).
