St. Aengus NS is celebrating its Ruby Anniversary this year. A series of events is planned to celebrate the past 40 years. There will be a concert by past and present pupils in the Halfway House tonight at 8.00pm and a Mass in St Aengus’ Church on Friday, March 20, 2015. There will also be a Gala Dinner in An Grianán Hotel, on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Tickets cost 25 euro and are available from the school on 074 9368352. It is hoped that a booklet will be produced and the school invites people to contribute and send in their memories to the school.
The first St Aengus’ Church Restoration Fund Draw 2015 took place this week. New members are still very welcome to sign up. Please think about it and call into sacristy after Mass. The cost is 20 euro per month. Prizes are 1000 euro, 500 euro and 250 euro. There is also a Promoters Prize of 50 euro. There will also be a free draw in December.
