“We warmly invite everyone to join us for our annual night of Traditional Irish Music, Song and Dance where we will again be treated to the talents of our pupils, staff and guests representing Glor Dun Geimhin and other groups,” said Mr Gormley.

“I wish to highlight the excellent working on going in our languages department, which is preparing over 30 Key Stage 3 pupils who will be attending Irish College this summer, in Teileann, County Donegal.

“This will be an ideal opportunity for our pupils to develop the use of their Irish language skills in a fun and rewarding environment while meeting many new friends from all over Ireland.”

Mr Gormley said all money raised through the Traditional Night raffle and an upcoming non-uniform day will be given to those pupils attending the Gaeltacht to help with some of the associated costs.
