Students support Shoebox Appeal

Students on Administration courses at the Limavady campus of North West Regional College have joined their colleagues in Early Years in getting ready for Christmas early this year.

The students are not shopping for themselves though, but instead have been preparing shoeboxes for babies and children affected by conflict in Eastern Europe.

The students have each filled a shoebox full of washing items, clothes, toys and games for a child in Eastern Europe who has suffered extreme isolation, poverty and the trauma of war.

The shoeboxes will be transported over the coming weeks by the charity Road of Hope.

The students on the Level 3 Diploma in Early Years have been supporting this charity for many years, and are very aware how the little items they collect will make a big difference to the children who will receive them this Christmas.
