The Playhouse Jammhouse has announced another bumper line up of local musical heavyweights for the music project’s first Birthday!

Soak, ‘John Deery & The Heads’ and ‘Paddy Nash and the Happy Enchiladas’ will all showcase unheard versions of their music for the special celebrations on Saturday March 16.

One year ago ‘John Deery & The Heads’ and Soak played the first Jammhouse for Soak’s first support gig. The young Derry singer/songwriter SOAK, aka Bridie Monds-Watson has gone on to make big waves in the local and national music scene.

She and John Deery will return to The Jammhouse to celebrate and they will be joined with another true Irish songwriter, Paddy Nash and the Happy Enchiladas!

The night will also be held to be part of the St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebrations.

“All acts are working on collaborating on the night to give a real celebratory feel to musical proceedings!” Jammhouse organiser John Ross said.

“We have two massive events to celebrate- our first birthday and the brilliant weekend of events lined up for Derry’s St Patrick’s Day 2013!”

Tickets for The March Jammhouse on Saturday March 16 at 9pm are £6. To book contact The Playhouse Box Office on (028)71268-027 or online at
