A Derry woman has pitched her mental health wellbeing programme ‘Replenish’ to Richard Branson but she needs you to vote for her.
Caroline McMenamim who has openly spoke about her diagnosis with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder has developed a programme called ‘Replenish’ that brings mental health education, awareness, support and help to Derry and Ireland.
“I’ve developed Replenish as a response to my years of quiet mental health suffering, because of lack of awareness, and for those who are suffering the torments of mental health issues right this minute,” said Caroline who is also the blogger The Red Dutchess.
“There has been suicide after suicide in our city, BECAUSE of not only the stigma and fear of speaking out and getting help, but because there is huge lack of help available.
“Replenish aims to change that, but I need my city’s help.
“However as midnight tonight is the deadline I’m still not in the top 80, I’m currently in 215th position. Which means I need the city behind me to help get my programme ‘Replenish’ the help it needs to make a difference to the minds of our people.”
