Derry sensations The Wonder Villains will headline a special St Patrick’s Eve Practice Makes Perfect event all-ages music event at the Nerve Centre tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 16.
The Wonder Villains played their first ever gig at Practice Makes Perfect.
Since then, the local indie-pop quartet have been on an unstoppable musical adventure.
They have supported the likes of Scouting for Girls and New Young Pony Club, playing at BBC Radio 1’s One Big Weekend and attracting attention from record labels across the world.
The Wonder Villains are Eimear Coyle, Cheylene Murphy, Kieran Coyle and Ryan McGroarty.
Energetic and exuberant vocals are matched by playful synths and indie guitars, all mixed to produce a sound that is endearingly youthful.
The hugely talented band are set to take time out from their studies this summer to concentrate on music full-time and release their eagerly awaited debut album.
Support acts at this event tomorrow night include Derry favourites The Reverb, Emily McCormick, The Mexican Plan and family dance duo The Brickettes.
Room Two will feature the ever popular IPod Disco with RozHixx, TZ and Meli, with DJ Damien Quigley manning the CD Decks.
The event will also feature Luke Mac & Dan’s Acoustic Cafe.
Doors open tomorrow night from 7.45pm - 11pm. This is an All Ages - No Alcohol gig in association with Divert.
Tickets priced £5/6 are on sale now at The Nerve Centre Box Office on: 71. 260562.
Forthcoming PMP gigs will feature headline performances from Jody Has A Hitlist and Not Squares.
