It is now thought the cast may travel via Derry to Ireland’s most northerly point this evening to begin filming.

A large part of Malin Head is already in lockdown ahead of filming over the weekend, but it has’t stop fans from across Ireland and abroad gathering at Malin Head.

A major construction operation has been under way there, amid tight security, to recreate the Millennium Falcon for the new Star Wars: Episode VIII movie, which is due to be released in 2017.
