Titanicdance back next week

Titanicdance, a unique dance show which depicts a love story on the ill-fated Titanic, returns to the Millennium Forum thsi week.

Principal Dancer and Creative Director Raymond Sweeney is delighted to see the show returning to Derry.

“The audience last year was absolutely fantastic and we are looking forward to getting back into rehearsals where the buzz and adrenaline will kick in again.”

Raymond promises a “fast-paced” show filled with “high energy.”

“Titanicdance showcases light and heavy jigs as well as some waltzing, which would have been of its time.”

An experienced dancer, Raymond worked with Michael Flatley on Lord of the Dance for 15 years.

“Every dancer dreams of producing their own show. There’s 30 people, including 24 dancers in Titanicdance so it’s a big production.”
