A spokesperson for Translink said today: “Our Goldline coach services from Belfast and Derry to Dublin, the X1, X2, X3 and X4 services, continue to operate today.

“We also plan to have extra coach capacity on our services to manage increased demand.

“Bus Eireann services on the X1 from Belfast and X3 from Derry are not currently operating as a result of industrial action.

“We would advise intending passengers to check our website www.translink.co.uk which shows which services are operated by ourselves and which are operated by Bus Eireann.

“Intending passengers travelling to Dublin can also use frequent Enterprise trains from Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly.”
