Tremone Historical Society to host event

Redcastle annual 5K  will take place today Friday, 29th, starting at 7pm. Registration at the Redcastle FC  clubhouse from 6pm.  Adults €10, children €3, family €20. Refreshments afterwards in the clubhouse.

On Sunday 21st August, Tremone Historical Society are organising an event to follow in the path of the families who walked from Carrowmenagh to the Workhouse, Carndonagh between 1845 and 1849. Meet at Carrowmenagh Community Centre at 2.00pm. Transport back to Carrowmenagh Centre for refreshments. Everyone is welcome.

Inishowen Methodist Churches are hosting Afternoon Tea and Cake Sale in Methodist Hall, Moville on Monday 1st August from 2-5pm. Everyone welcome.

A Church Gate Collection in aid of People with Intellectual Disability throughout Donegal will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 6th and 7th August.

Malin Head Sports Day takes place on Monday, 15th August, in Dock’s field, commencing 2pm.  Usual events and sideshows.  Great meeting place and a chance to catch up with old friends.

Malin Head Sports Dance on Monday night, 15th August, in Malin Head Community Centre.  Music by The Fanadian with dancing from 10 – 1am.  Supper served.

Charity dance in aid of St Luke’s cancer care, Dublin and the Donegal Hospice on Sunday 7th August in the Stand Hotel Ballyliffen. Music by Eddie Gallagher and Dyphna Mc Bride starting from 10pm. All support would be greatly apprecated.

Carndonagh Camera Club meets at 7.30pm every Thursday evening in Spraoi agus Sport in Carndonagh. All levels of photographer welcome from camera phone users to DSLR users.
