Trust’s consultation on community equipment

The Western Trust has launched a consultation on proposals for the Future of Community Equipment and Home Delivery of Disposable Continence Products.

The consultation will run for 12 weeks.

During this period the Western Trust will be consulting widely with service users, relatives, its staff, the public and other interested parties.

Alan Corry Finn, Director Primary Care and Older People Services commented: “The Western Trust is really keen to hear and consider carefully all views on how our Community Equipment and Home Delivery Service is delivered in the future. Community equipment is provided by the Trust to people receiving care at home. This includes a range of equipment such as beds, specialist mattresses, commodes, and shower chairs.
