Man arrested by detectives investigating violent republicanism in Derry released
A 22-year-old man arrested in Derry following raids by police investigating violent republicanism has been released unconditionally.
The man was taken to Belfast yesterday for questioning.
The arrest took place following a search by the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit (TIU) this morning.
They were investigating violent dissident republican activity in the North West, police said.
The man was released on Wednesday evening.
