Unions shocked at CODA withdrawal

Officials from NIPSA and Unite said they were shocked by Tuesday's airport announcement.

Trade union official Alan Law said: “The news that Ryanair are reducing the flights from March 2017 is devastating. The discussion with Mr Kelpie and Mr Devine was very positive and I wish them well in their continued efforts to secure replacements.

The impact of Air Passenger Duty continues to disproportionately affect the airport.”
